A note about the books reviewed on this site: A new law was recently enacted that has been causing some confusion among online reviewers. For clarity's sake, all reviews on this site are the opinions of the reviewer, based on a careful reading of the work. Books are furnished to reviewers in a variety of ways, including review copies from the publisher, the author, and/or publicists. Other books are borrowed from libraries, received as gifts from friends and family members, and purchased in bookstores, both online and bricks & mortar. Reviewers stand by their reviews as their own opinion, regardless of the source of the book being reviewed. Any questions about a review or source of a book may be directed to the editor of this site via email. Got books? I do - and I'm giving them away. Check out the WIN BOOKS page to see how you can win a copy of HYPOTHERMIA by Arnaldur Indridason. Check out the Win Books page for all the details. Then go to the Win Thrillers page to find out how you can win signed copies of these fabulous thrillers: SPIDER BONES by Kathy Reichs; FLY BY WIRE by Ward Larson; PRETTY LITTLE THINGS by Jilliane Hoffman; BACHELOR SHERIFF by Paula Graves; IN THE ECHO OF VIOLENCE by Jordan Dane; and SKATING AROUND THE LAW by Joelle Charbonneau. Welcome. I'm so glad you've found me. I've had a life long love affair with books and this is my opportunity to pay homage to the written word.
This is a forum for any and all information regarding the printed matter bound between cloth or paper, or even read aloud. I offer reviews - lots of reviews - as well as lists of reviewers' favorite books each year, and links to various websites extolling the virtues and practicalities of reading groups, the publishing industry, writers, and booksellers. This is a constantly evolving work in progress. I welcome constructive criticism, ideas, suggestions and/or feedback of any kind.
Peruse and enjoy!
